Final Design Changed

We altered our design to make it more complex, by adding the theme of a daisy chain running through the digipak on the pictures. We will using the image of a daisy and photoshop it then copy it to create a chain to spiral round our pictures. The daisy is often associated with indie artists, so we thought it would be appropriate.

Final Design

This is our final design idea. our colour scheme to use will be yellow black and white. The pictures will be in black and white but by using photoshop we will bring out the ginger hair of the model to create a immediate effect.

Rough Sketches

These are the first rough drafts and sketches we did of our digipak. One of our main ideas is to choose a specific pose for our artist and then use this pose in all of the pictures, taking the shots from different angles, the front face, the body at the front and the back. We will then put these pictures in specific places in our digipak.

We will use the front close up of the artists face for the front cover of the digipak. The body from the head down will be used as the picture for the left inside cover. The picture of the back of the artist will be used on the back of the cover along with the track list and other credentials.

Moodboard

This is the mood board we have created for the genre 'Indie-pop', there are some examples of fonts we would use, and the kind of pictures we hope to have in our digipak.

Research

Summer Task

The summer task we have been set for the following three weeks is to design and create a digipak, inventing a new artist/group of a specific genre that the digipak would be used for.
